A 20-year-old student of Baze University, Morenikeji Adebanjo, has emerged as the best student at the 10th convocation ceremony of the university. Morenikeji earned a law degree with a cumulative grade point average of 3.81 over 4.00, making her the top graduating student among the other 388 graduating students.
20 years old Morenikeji attributed her success to the collective efforts of her teachers, families and the institution and said their support inspired her to achieve success.
“A lot has inspired me. First of all it is God, secondly it is my family. This achievement is not an individual achievement, but a collective achievement through Baze University,” Morenikeji said.
“My teachers also helped me enormously. Sometimes I visit them for additional explanation and they take the time to really explain it to me, I appreciate their efforts. It was a collective effort,” she added.

Morenikeji said her goal is to be a contributing member of society, stating that she plans to help students achieve success and use the law as a tool for change.
“I will try to be a helpful member of society in any way I can. “I plan to help the students first, give them some advice on how to succeed, and use the law as a tool for change,” she said.
