The Kumasi Wesley Girls’ High School, located in the Ashanti Region of Ghana, emerged victorious in the preliminary phase of the 2023 National Science and Mathematics Quiz.
They successfully beat formidable competitors, Northern School of Business and Aduman Senior High School, in the ongoing preliminary national contests.

Numerous other schools also vie for a coveted spot in the national final competition during the preliminary stage.

The team from Kumasi Wesley Girls’ High School bagged 42 points, while the Northern School of Business team garnered 35 points. With 23 points, Aduman SHS secured the third position.
The results of all participating schools were revealed by @NSMQGhana, honouring the victorious team.

NSMQ Eastern Regional Championship Sees Pope John SHS Outshine St. Peter’s SHS
In the final regional competition held on Saturday, July 15, the school team accumulated a total of 32 points, emerging victorious against Abuakwa State College and St. Peter’s Boys Senior High School.
@NSMQGhana disclosed on Twitter the commendable performance of each participating school in the Eastern Regional Championship. Pope John SHS clinched the regional title for the first time in NSMQ history.
