Kenny Ogungbe, 53-year-old prominent figure in music, stylishly concludes NYSC obligations


Kenny Ogungbe, Head of Kennis Music and Kennis FM, has successfully finished the one-year NYSC (National Youth Service Corps) programme.

On Thursday, October 12, 2023, Ogungbe shared snapshots of his Passing Out Parade (POP) alongside fellow Nigerian youth on his online platforms.

Compulsory annual Batch C service came to a close on October 12.

The 52-year-old music authority posted images of himself and other NYSC participants celebrating this impressive achievement and attributed his success to Divine intervention during his year of service to his cherished nation.

His words were: “Today is NYSC graduation/POP. Lagos/12C. Graduation day. Glory to God.”

Khaid explains shifting faith from Islam to Christianity

At the same time, Sulaimon Shekoni Solomon, a Nigerian singer on the rise known more commonly as Khaid, has illuminated his shift in faith from Islam to Christianity.

In a recent interview, the young vocalist who will turn 19 in December, emphasized his affinity for Christianity despite having a Muslim father and Christian mother.

Khaid reminisced about his younger years, when his father would insist him on attending the mosque.

Growing up, he shared that he attended mosque to keep his father content and avoid unpleasant local gossip about his son converting to Christianity while he is a Muslim.
