Edo: Reject PDP and Its Candidate, APC Gov Aspirant Tells Residents

Blessing Agbomhere, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Edo State, has encouraged the people of the state to reject the Peoples Democratic Party and its candidate.

He pointed out that the people had been let down by the party and Governor Godwin Obaseki.

The South-South Zone Organizing Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Agbomhere, accused Obaseki of failing to provide the citizens of the state with the necessities of life.

Agbomhere urged the people to support the APC in the governorship election by promising to improve the social and economic conditions of the state in a statement he signed on Wednesday.

If given the opportunity, he promised to put the state back on the same pedestal as the economic progress and infrastructure development brought about by Adams Oshimole.

The statement read in part: “I would like to urge the people of the state not to fall for the antics of the governor who has failed the people. He has failed to provide them with the basic necessities of life. The people should reject him, his deputy and his party. Edo residents should ensure the return of the APC to Osadebey House.

“The tragic state of affairs in Edo State is worrisome and is a consequence of the uncoordinated and visionless leadership that Governor Obaseki and his deputy Shuaibu have provided over the past seven and a half years.

“If the state were to become governor, he would witness the rekindling of the tremendous growth and development fueled by the administration of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.”
