The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has budgeted N1,055,633.61 billion for local travel.
An analysis of the 2024 budget conducted by Daily Trust shows that the Commission has also budgeted N113.4 million for training for local travel, while N389.6 million will go towards transportation for international training.
The anti-graft agency will also spend N173.6m set aside for international travel and transportation, among others.
Further analysis revealed that the anti-graft agency will spend N413 million on new vehicles, while N164.3 million will be spent on fueling the commission's vehicles, and N273.3 million was also budgeted to fuel generators provided.
Also, the Commission will spend N156.8 million on electricity costs, while N271.2 million will be spent on security operations to be carried out by the agency, while N186.6 million will be spent on legal services.
It also plans to spend N71.3 million on meals and refreshments, with N413.7 million going towards the purchase of fixtures and shelves for the headquarters and zonal commands, while another N352.1 million will go towards maintenance of office buildings and residential areas.
This revealed that N65.2 million will be used to print security documents, while N46m will be used to print non-security documents, and that N44.1 million will be spent on “annual budgetary costs and administration.”

It was also said that N455 million will be spent on insurance premiums.
