The people of Adamawa State have re-elected their governor, Ahmadu Fintiri of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), for a second term.
State officials led by Prof. Mohammed Mele confirmed Fintiri’s victory following his triumph over Aishatu Dahiru from the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Aishatu, also referred to as Binani, was inaccurately declared the victor by the now suspended Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC.
