A Nigerian student who sat for the 2022 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE) is making headlines for her stellar performance.

Chioma has bagged the 2022 WAEC National Distinction/Merit Award for WASSCE for School Candidates.
According to a message on her school’s Facebook pageThe merit award was presented on Thursday, November 16.
The message reads:
“The West African Examinations Council awards Obidigbo Chioma Blessing with a National Award/Merit Award for WASSCE for School Candidates 2022, First Prize Winner.”
Another message made earlier from the school indicates that Chioma scored A1 in all subjects for which she sat exams in 2022.
A breakdown of the results shows that Chioma registered for mathematics, English language, chemistry, physics, biology, citizenship education and French. Others are marketing and agricultural sciences. She scored A1 in each of the subjects.

The duo attended and studied the same course at a Ghanaian secondary school, where they wrote the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) WASSCE before attending the same university.
X user, formerly Twitter FestusLivingst1, revealed that they both attended Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

She won the title from her peers with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.0 at the university’s graduation ceremony.
