Four dead and more than ten injured as Sylvester Madu escapes death after being attacked by gunmen at filming location

Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu narrowly avoided death after a brutal attack by gunmen in Bamenda, Cameroon.

The actor is said to have migrated to Cameroon on November 23, 2023 to work on a film project. Cameroonian fans also greeted him with great enthusiasm, unable to contain their excitement at the sight of the skilled fencing god.

But on Saturday, November 25, around 10 p.m., some unknown gunmen stormed a drinking establishment where Sylvester Madu and a few others were hanging out, causing chaos among those present.

It was discovered that the attack killed four people and seriously injured more than ten.

Fortunately, Sylvester Madu was able to escape unscathed as the Cameroonian police acted quickly to resolve the problem.

The terrible incident was further confirmed by a press release from the film company which invited Sylvester Madu to Cameroon for the filming.

DAMA Fims hosted Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu alias Shina Rambo on Thursday, November 23, 2023 in Bamenda for a film shoot in which he advocated against hard drug addiction. To conclude the film we received an invitation for a guest appearance at BIG G VIP located at Mile 3 Nkwen. The snooker championship organized by Big G started at 3 p.m., everything went well with the fans who met Sylvester Madu, at 10 p.m. we heard gunshots from outside, and many ran wild, which led to the death of 4 civilians and more than 10 injured . Police intervened to ensure the safety of Nollywood actor Sylvester Madu and dispersed the crowd.

From midnight, spectators, in the spirit of goodwill, carried the injured to the nearest hospitals PMI Nkwen and Regional Hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.
