In a sorrowful event, potential groom Nsidibe Aniekan Davies passed away after suffering a brief illness, mere days before his scheduled wedding. The gentleman was preparing to wed his charming lady, Peace Eyibio Etim, on November 11, 2023, at the Eyibio family residence in Ikot Anse Itam Itu LGA, Akwa Ibom State.
In a deeply saddening moment, a companion broadcasted the dismal news on Facebook, mentioning the late man had been dealing with persistent headaches. After seeking medical attention, he was diagnosed with malaria and unfortunately passed away in a short span of time.
Peace voiced her profound grief with a solemn declaration on her social media account regarding the funeral plans for her would-be husband, which coincidentally aligned with their previously planned wedding date.
In a wretched turn of events, she found herself posting a picture initially prepared for their pre-wedding shoot as her dear one’s obituary.
Peace conveyed a moving message: “The picture was intended for our pre-wedding shoot, but you are not here anymore. You passed away right in front of me. You constantly reminded me that November 11 would be our special day, our wedding day. My dear husband, you have left me shattered. Who will address me as ‘Ima mi’, ‘Ima Nsiko’, ‘adiaha eka mi’… My cherished husband, I yearn for you, my love. May your soul rest in eternal peace, my dear.”
