Professor and Nigerian comedian Helen Paul has sincerely apologized to Nollywood actress Lizzy Anjorin for misreading one of her messages.
Iyabo Ojo and Lizzy Anjorin have been in a public dispute for the past few days. In the midst of their ongoing feud, Helen had posted a quizzical comment about what was meant to be a baby lizard. Would it be called Lizzy Baby, she wondered.
Unexpectedly, Iyabo posted a laughing emoji in her comments section, leading many to believe that Lizzy Anjorin was the intended recipient of the message.
Lizzy had responded as expected, pointing out that while people criticize her, they never seem to mind when she confronts them.
“The same people who say Sepeteri was not referring to me are the same people who scream and mention her name when Awokawo receives hot koboko.
Lizard doesn't get tired of doing push-ups (You Gerrit?) Sepeteri I saw you in that comment section. I hope you will comfort her when my answer hits her like a ton of bricks.”
Taking to her Instagram page, Helen Paul clarified that the message was not directed at her and was misinterpreted. According to her, it was just a playful post and did not refer to the controversial actress in any way.
“Good morning sister
Some people called to inform me about my funny post and said you were angry. Sorry, it didn't relate to you in any way. Sorry for the misinterpretation or timing.
