The 2023 Labor Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has said he will not stop being the face of the opposition in the country.
Obi stated that he has been receiving stunning offers to stop condemning the Bola Tinubu administration, saying he was threatened for rejecting the stunning offers.
However, he did not reveal the identities of the individuals or groups who made him the offers.
The former governor alleged that Tinubu's government was planning to destroy him and plan negative things against him for refusing their offers.
Obi therefore declared that he was ready to stand and sacrifice himself for the good that would be done in the country, stressing that he was not afraid of death.
He said: “The offers I have received from these people are astonishing. I refused, and they are willing to plan negative things against me! But I am willing to stand and make sacrifices for what is right.
“As I keep saying to people, if they say, 'Peter, you're putting your life in danger' if I die at 60, I didn't die young. Some people died in their twenties, thirties or forties. And I have children who have now graduated and are doing their own things.
“If I go today, it's fair enough; as long as I don't stray from the things I have said since the day I decided to join the government.
“I will always stay on the right track.”
