“Dating someone residing on the mainland isn’t for me,” declares Moet Abebe

Moet Abebe, birth name Laura Monyeazo Abebe and a prominent Nigerian video jockey, has openly declared her disinterest in dating a male who resides in Lagos Island.

In a recent episode of the “Bahd and Boujee” podcast co-hosted by the 34-year-old media personality with reality TV star Tolanibaj, she expressed this view.

Tolanibaj aired her nonchalant attitude towards having a partner dwelling on the mainland, provided he heads to her place whenever she dials him before 11pm.

Abebe showed her reluctance in pursuing a relationship with someone that may consistently reach late or encounter police checkpoints during late-night visits.

However, the star of BBNaija retorted saying her spouse utilises a police escort to evade nocturnal police interference.

Abebe, the video jockey, clarified, “It’s been a clear-cut stance of mine: I can’t envisage dating a mainland resident. It’s likely I’d receive an excuse along the lines of, ‘It’s too late, police patrols are rampant,’ in case I ring him at night. It’s not something I can tolerate.”
