Eniola, the physically challenged peddler who rose to fame online, claims he had to flee his home due to the abuse he suffered at the hands of his family.
Recall that the young man gained widespread attention when he dressed up as a lady to sell water, an act aimed at seeking financial help.
Nevertheless, his true gender was revealed after comedian Brain Jotter extended his help by providing him with N600,000.
In a video circulating online, Eniola claims he has suffered persistent abuse from his family, mainly citing physical abuse from his mother as the reason he decided to run away from home.
Nevertheless, during an interview with Akin Abolade, his mother clarified that her child's name is Sultan and not Eniola, stressing that his real age is 18, unlike the age of 23 claimed by Eniola.
She said he left home in 2020. Turning to her side of the story, the mother expressed her deep pain over Eniola's statements and claimed that out of her four children, she loves him the most.
She said: “I asked him to send me money yesterday when his video started trending on social media and Nigerians sent money to him. But his answer to me was: 'mom, don't worry, it's your turn soon, for now it's not your turn.' This boy made me cry a lot.”
