Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has revealed that he sincerely wants to win the Grammy.
Davido said it is his daily prayer to bag the international award.
His fourth studio album, 'Timeless', was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category, while 'Unavailable' and 'Feel' were nominated in the Best African Music Performance and Best Global Music Performance categories respectively.
In a recent interview with GQ, Davido said everyone knows he is sincerely praying to win the award.
He said, “Everyone now knows what one of my prayer points is. I've been nominated for three Grammys. So everyone knows what I pray for every day when I wake up.”
Davido will join fellow countryman Burna Boy alongside Arooj Aftab, Silvana Estrada, Béla Fleck, Falu and Gaurav Shah to compete for the Best Global Music Performance gong.
He also featured alongside Burna Boy, Susana Baca, Shakti and Bokante in the Best Global Music Album category.

In the Best African Music Performance category he is competing against well-known names: Asake, Ayra Starr, Burna Boy and the South African Tyla.
