Primate Ayodele Predicts Nigerians Will Start Purchasing Gasoline at N180 Per Litre, Declares Expected Time Frame

Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele recently declared an impending decrease in fuel prices in Nigeria. He prophesied that residents will begin acquiring petrol “at a reasonable rate” sparking joy among the populace.

In the Ikotun area of Lagos State, the head of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, envisaged a reduction in the cost of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS), commonly referred to as petroleum, which will fall from N617 per liter to N180.

Prior to this, Ayodele mentioned this prediction in a video, sparking optimism among Nigerians.

He relates this prediction to what he calls the inherent competition in price modulation of PMS.

Upon assuming office, President Bola Tinubu escalated the fuel price from N165 to N530, and afterwards from N530 to beyond N600. This escalation has significantly affected the nation’s economic activities.

The spiritual leader commented, “I foresee an alteration in gasoline prices. Nigerians must exercise patience. There will be a significant drop in petrol prices. I would estimate it to hover around 180. It might take a while, but not too long. Possibly a couple of months.”

He proceeded to add, “Businesses that the government has granted import licenses will eventually lower the price. Hence, we must remain optimistic about the oil prices.”

This time, too, I envision a dip in fuel prices in Nigeria, and people beginning to purchase petrol at a reasonable rate.
