Opoku Ware Senior High School (OWASS) first-year student Stephen Apemah-Baah has been recognised with a certificate of merit for his record-breaking participation in the 2023 National Science and Maths Quiz (NSMQ).
Apemah-Baah, a young genius, along with his team represented their school in this highly anticipated competition, making it all the way to the final showdown and securing third place.

Apemah-Baah broke records by becoming the first-ever Ghanaian Form 1 student to compete in the NSMQ National Championship.
The youthful student was presented with the certificate by quiz mistress Dr. Elsie Effah Kaufmann. And to add to that, a female moderator has pledged to gift him GH¢2,000 in cash.
