Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labor Party, is scheduled to conduct a world press conference today, November 6.
The LP’s National Publicity Secretary, Obiora Ifoh, announced this in a statement issued on Monday.
The press release stated: “This afternoon at 2pm, the honorable Peter Obi will conduct a World Press Conference at the Campaign Headquarters.”
This will mark Obi’s first public media event following his defeat in the Supreme Court.
The occurrence follows a week after Obi’s campaign spokesperson, Yunusa Tanko, dismissed speculative news of Obi’s escape in light of the Supreme Court verdict.
Tanko disclosed to our reporter that the LP’s nominee had departed the nation well ahead of the court’s declaration.
He also indicated that upon the return of the party’s presidential nominee to Nigeria, he will directly address the nation’s populace.
