Drama arises as a single motherwho had a relationship of ten years with her partner Chris, proposes to him on his birthday with the help of her children.

In a video that is making the rounds social mediathe single mother and her partner, Chris were seen wearing matching shirts with the inscriptions 'King' and 'Queen' respectively.

When the children's shirts lined up, they formed a message that read: “Uncle Chris, aka Dad, will you marry Mom?”

Unfortunately, the outcome did not seem favorable as Chris's reaction seemed less enthusiastic. He shook his head, looked away and scratched his head.

However, the woman was not bothered by the awkward reaction and began to express her feelings for him, mentioning their common child, their ten-year journey together and her deep love for him.

During her speech, she held a ring in her hand as she was cheered on by her friends and family gathered at the party.

“I want to know if he will spend the rest of his life with me,” she said.

After the single mother expressed her feelings, the man struggled to maintain eye contact and continued to scratch his head without responding.

Finally he said, “As an African man, I have to do it the right way.”
