The Kano State Government held a mass wedding for 3,600 women and men from the 44 native authorities areas of the state.
According to NAN, the Fatihah wedding happened on Friday, October 13, 2023 on the palace of Kano’s Emir, Alhaji Aminu Bayero.
The beneficiaries primarily included younger women and boys, widows, divorcees and spinsters.
Gov. Abba Yusuf, Kwankwasiyya chief Dr. Rabiu Kwankwaso, authorities officers and non secular leaders all attended the ceremony.
The Madakin Kano, Alhaji Yusuf Nabahani, represented the Emir of Kano.
