Vice President Kashim Shettima has arrived in Iperu Remo, Ogun State, to commemorate the 37th annual Akesan Festival.
Shettima, the honored special visitor, was accompanied by Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas and the Governors of Kogi and Kwara States, Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq and Yahaya Bello respectively.
On Saturday, Stanley Nkwocha, the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Communications (Office of the Vice President), made this known via his X profile (formerly Twitter).
He tweeted: “Present to receive the Vice President are the Governor of Ogun State, Dapo Abiodun, Senator Solomon Adeola (Yayi), former Speaker, Rt. Hon. Dimeji Bankole, some members of the Ogun State Executive Council and several others.”
