WASSCE 2023: Genius with 8As mechanic needs support for tertiary education: “I can't afford it”

Despite securing 8As in the 2023 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE), Osman may have to put his quest for tertiary education on the back burner.

The Mfantsipim School alumnus, who now works as a mechanic to support his livelihood, cannot afford to finance his education due to financial constraints.

In a post on Facebook, social media user Xavier Taylor highlighted the young man's predicament, claiming that Osman worked as a mechanic to support his education from middle school to high school.

“I never chose my life; life chose me. I just have to focus on the mechanics because I can't afford tertiary education,” says Taylor quoted Osman as saying this.
