Mercy Eke, an ex-contestant of Big Brother Naija All Stars, has confessed why she falsely claimed to be dating a billionaire.
It is noteworthy that Mercy, during her time on the reality show, suggested she was involved with a billionaire who promised her the grand prize of 120 million should she decline to participate in the show.
As per Mercy Eke, her significant other was overly protective and counseled her against participating in the show.
Nonetheless, in a conversation with renowned media figure Toke Makinwa on Tuesday, the reality star refuted dating a billionaire and admitted to lying about having a wealthy boyfriend off the show.
Mercy further clarified that she only made that statement to deter the male contestants from pursuing her because she was not interested in a relationship.

In related news, Ilebaye Odiniya, the victorious contestant of the Big Brother Naija All-Stars season, has conveyed her disappointment over the lack of congratulations from some housemates.
In her view, while it is understandable for the other contestants to be disappointed at not winning the N120 million prize money, it is unjust of them not to celebrate the winner’s success.
The reality tv celeb confessed that the absence of congratulations from all housemates has led her to feel undeserving of the victory and consequently, upset.
