Music maker Samklef recently clarified his decision to share a video of fellow musician Davido, his wife, and their newborn twins online.
Social media platforms were buzzing recently as a video surfaced showing Davido and Chioma departing a US hospital with their twin infants.
The video was reportedly shared by Samklef, who captioned it, “Official congratulations to #davido x #thechefchi, double blessings. One boy, one girl noni!”
Upon coming across the video, Davido criticised Samklef, indicating his disapproval. Davido called him a bad person and commented, “You should not have uploaded this video.”
In other comments, he exclaimed, “Wtf,” and requested that Samklef delete the video as he perceived him to be a bad person.
Reacting to Davido’s comments, Samklef defended himself on Instagram, saying, “I found the video on Twitter and shared it. Was that wrong? Was I the one who filmed the video? Why am I criticised for sharing it, just like other platforms did? I don’t get it. Let Samklef breathe.”
In an additional post, he said, “Davido and I are good. At first, he assumed I was the one who leaked the video based on our DM conversation. Nevertheless, I cleared up the misunderstanding by making it known that I saw the video on Twitter. May his home and family continue to be blessed.”
