Controversial musician and media figure, Sam Klef, recently used Twitter to subtly throw shade at Davido, thereby rekindling debates amongst Nigerian music enthusiasts.
He ambiguously stated that Wizkid is on top of the pack when it comes to Nigerian artists.
Sam Klef’s assertion is based on the remarkable respect Wizkid commands from his colleagues, he explained.
His statements were primarily seen as an affront to Davido, considering the recent squabble between the two over social media.
The fallout was triggered by a video featuring Davido, his wife Chioma and their twins.
Sam Klef, who was one of the first to share this video, promptly received a request from Davido asking for its removal.
Davido to Samklef for Sharing a Video of him, Chioma and Twins: “You’re a bad person, remove it”
David Adeleke, better known as Davido, scolded music maker cum singer Samklef over sharing a video of him, Chioma, and their twins.
Earlier in the week, claims surfaced that Davido and Chioma became parents to twins. Davido, however, kept silent about it, leaving the public to guess if it’s factual or not.
In a fresh twist, Samklef decided to quell the public’s curiosity by sharing a video of the celebrity couple with their twins on his Instagram page.
He extended his congratulations to them on the arrival of their twins.
Quoting him:
“Now it’s official, big congratulations are in order for @davido x @thechefchi. Two blessings. A boy and a girl.”
Despite the buzz the video generated, Davido expressed his displeasure in the comment section.
He accused Samklef of being a bad person and ordered an immediate removal of the video.
