A brilliant and determined man named Joshua Kamal, who used to work as a banker, has achieved his dream of becoming a doctor.
Joshua Kamal took to Twitter to share his achievement of finally realizing his dream as a doctor after years of working as a banker. He graduated from the University of Ghana Medical School with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery.
He named that he had quit his banking job to pursue his medical training, and that writing the entrance exam was very difficult and challenging for him because he had been out of school for a while and was no longer used to reading.
“I quit my job at the bank in January to realize my dream of becoming a doctor. A lot of people thought I was delusional. The entrance exam was the hardest thing I had to study in my life. Not only because of MEDICAL SCHOOL, but I haven’t been a student for a while,” he said.

Joshua finally achieved his dream when he graduated as a medical doctor from the University of Ghana. He said achieving this success brought out his reflective mind. He stated that he faced challenges such as anxiety, stress and internal chaos when he quit his job.
“I’m done, I wrapped the MBChB. I read this tweet and it took me back to 2019; the anxiety, the stress, the internal chaos, the hmmmmm,” he said. Joshua thanked God for the grace of perseverance to finally graduate from medical school.
